What is it and why is it a must for every man? How can I get it?
First by definition, Salvation is derived from the root Greek word “suzo”(pronounced “zo-zo”) – meaning ‘NEW BIRTH, HEALING AND DELIVERANCE.
*God planned man’s redemption IN CHRIST before the foundations of the world.
* He announced it when Adam sinned. Gen 3:15
* JESUS went up to the Cross to fulfill it. 1 Cor 15:3-4
* SALVATION is a GIFT already given to all men by God, no one earns it by works. Ephesian 2:8-9
* Men are not saved on a conditional or temporary basis. SALVATION IS ETERNAL. Jesus gave the pledge John 6:37
HOW TO RECEIVE SALVATION:
Romans 10:1-9.
If you have believed in your heart, you can make this faith-confession audibly:
LORD JESUS CHRIST, COME INTO MY HEART.
I NOW KNOW THAT YOU DIED TO SAVE ME FROM MY SIN.
I RECEIVE YOUR GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE BY FAITH NOW.
THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME.
IN YOUR HOLY NAME ‘JESUS’ I PRAYED. AMEN.
