God stopped forgiving sins over 2000 years ago. It was a once-and-for-all thing. This includes the sins of the entire today, even the terrorists. Trying to ask for mercy is a function of ignorance and religious piety. A sign of a conscience that is not purged and a mind yet to be renewed to the grace of the Cross.
We only receive what grace has made available by faith. Forgiveness of sins is not a reward of asking for mercy, but a function of the already existing covenant of the blood of Jesus. I will show mercy unto whom I please, not the one who asks for mercy. And guess what, to the new creation he says in Heb 8:10-12: “their sins and iniquity will I remember no more”. We are always and forever forgiven, no more mercy prayer. For under the old covenant, once the High Priest and the sacrifice is accepted, no body goes back and asks for further mercy for that year again.
The Church today is suffering from a syndrome called “Global Religious Activities” (G.R.A.for short), which is an anti-Christ spirit at work. May God help us. It’s like saying out loud to the world that the sacrifice and the High Priest (Jesus Christ) was not accepted.
